The lottery is organised on a match-by-match and category-by-category basis. Thus, your application could be entirely successful, partially successful or not successful at all – i.e. you could be allocated tickets for all, some or none of the matches you have applied for. However, if you are allocated tickets for a match, you will always be allocated the full number of tickets that you requested for that match. That means that you will never receive fewer tickets than you requested for a specific match if you are successful in the lottery.
As the lottery is organised on a category-by-category basis, if tickets are still available in another category, the lottery will also determine the applicants who will receive the tickets in question, on the basis of those applicants who have indicated that they would be willing to purchase tickets in another category.
